The Archibald Project: Help a Great Cause and Receive an 8x10 Print!

I have some exciting news on the blog today! One of my friends is embarking on a life changing mission. She is heading to Uganda to visit orphanages and help raise awareness of orphan care. She is collaborating with The Archibald Project, and below is a short bio on their organization and mission.

We are orphan care media. We believe in the power of storytelling because we have seen our stories change the lives of orphans. We use photography, video and social media, as well as host events and attend conferences to help spread orphan care awareness, and because we exist fewer children will be called orphan.

Why am I Writing About This?

I have joined with Kendell to help her raise money for expenses related to the trip and to help with The Archibald Project's mission. If you donate $25 in the next 48 hours, you will not only be helping this cause, but will also receive an 8x10 print from one of the selections below. Once you donate, you will receive an email to choose which photo you would like sent to you.

In April I will embark on a Media Mission to Jinja, Uganda with The Archibald Project (partnering with Sole Hope) to love on orphans and write their stories. Because? Storytelling. Is. Everything. My heart aches for and urgently adores The Archibald Project’s vision. Their goal to spur social awareness and employ others to compassionate combat for transformation of the orphan crisis through art and media responds to everything I seek. Genius.
